Spanish Rice

Water 1 Unit
Chicken Bouillon or Low Sodium Chicken Stock/Broth 1 Cup
Near East Spanish Rice Blend 1 Unit
Salt
Pepper

  Total Time: 35 Minutes
  Prep Time: 5 Minutes
  Cook Time: 30 Minutes

Servings:
  3-4

Instructions

Step 1: Prep
  Blend spices together for Near East Spanish Rice Blend.
  Will need approximately 1 Tablespoon of spice blend.
  Rice rice until water runs clean.
  Use quantity listed on rice package.

Step 2: Fry Rice
  Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium heat.
  Add rice and cook until golden brown.

Step 3: Prep Bouillon
  In a bowl, add bouillon and water.
  Use water quantity listed on package.
  Or, use low sodium chicken stock/broth.

Step 4: Season Rice
  After rice has browned, add:
    - Water
    - Spice Blend

Step 5: Cook Rice
  Stir and bring to a boil.
  Cook per package instructions.

Step 6: Finish and Serve
  Season with Salt and Pepper.
  Fluff with a fork and serve.
