Instructions
Step 1: Prep
Melt together chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter either on stovetop or in microwave (30 second intervals).
Once fully melted, stir in vanilla extract.
Optional Melting Method:
Using a pot and large metal or glass bowl, melt using a double boiler.
Fill pot with 2-3 inches of water and place on stovetop.
Place chocolate, chocolate, peanut butter, butter in bowl.
Place bowl over pot (bowl lip should be larger than pot lip) with bowl acting as the lid.
Turn stovetop heat to high to bring water to a boil.
Recude heat to simmer once water has started to boil.
Continue to heat until bowl contents have all melted.
Step 2: Roast Veggies
In a large mixing bowl, pour in chex mix.
Pour over melted chocolate mixture.
Gently stir/mix to coat evenly.
Allow mixture to cool slightly to room temperature.
Add 1 cup of powdered sugar.
Mix until combined.
Add additional powdered sugar 1/4 cup at a time until coated to satisfaction.
