Instructions
Step 1: Prep
Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
Season all over with salt and pepper.
Drizzle each piece with olive oil and rub to coat.
Place skin sides up on one side of prepared sheet.
Step 2: Roast Chicken
Roast chicken for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Brush Chicken with BBQ Sauce
Remove sheet pan from oven.
Brush chicken with half the BBQ sauce (save the rest for serving)
Step 4: Finish Roasting
Return pan with chicken leags to oven on top rack
Roast until chicken is cooked through, 8-12 minutes.
Step 5: Finish and Serve
Divide chicken between plates.
Serve with remaining BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
